Printing Choice

Our printing partners are selected based on their green contribution to the societies. Our major printers use FSC-certified paper to demonstrate their commitment to sustainability. The FSC (Forest Stewardship Council), an international non-profit organization, supports environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial and economically viable management of the world’s forests.

When it comes to working with local smaller print shops for fast turnarounds and smaller quantities, we select print shops that carry recycled and post recycled paper materials. By choosing to work with printers that are certified by environmentally conscious institutions like FSC ensures KAI Design & Communication to be part of the design community that values sustainability.

What we are doing at KAI Design & Communication as part of the sustainable-focus design community member:

• Reduce paper wastes by using and printing on both sides of papers before tossing into recycle bin
• Increase clients’ awareness about the use of recycled paper
• Find creative design solutions that prolong the life-cycle of materials produced
• Use and buy recycled paper as our main printing paper source
• Attend conferences and remain updated about the latest news and information from the designers world and their efforts aimed at making the world a better place
• Recycle ink cartridges
• Use real cups and plates
• Etc.
